Progress Solar Introduces SLT800 Solar Light Tower with MPPT Controllers

Progress Solar Solutions announced that it will launch a new solar light tower at the American Rental Association. The SLT800-HVR solar light tower was developed based on the requirement for high volume outdoor lighting applications and can generate enhanced solar power.

It incorporates several features such as a dual battery bank charger, battery state-of-charge meters, automated clock timers, maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controllers, and a large battery bank.

Solar Light Tower

The solar light towers utilize renewable energy instead of the conventional diesel fuel, thus making it cost-efficient. They also eradicate the maintenance cost, pollutants, and carbon emissions associated with diesel fuel engines.

The solar wings of the solar light tower feature solar arrays, which are placed toward the sun. This enables the device to capture energy at day time and utilize it at night. The MPPT controllers enhance solar power generation and shield the batteries from under/over charging.

The light tower can be tilted up/down and can be rotated at 360 º. The LED flood lights offer improved white light with enhanced lumen output and are shatter and vibration resistant. The light towers feature automated clock timers that turn the lights on/off instantly.
