MultiTouch Unveils 46-Inch HD LCD Displays for Retail Applications

LCD screen provider, MultiTouch is delivering the MT469 MultiTouch Cell 46’’ HD LCD that produces a brightness of over 500 lm.

The MT469 incorporates the MultiTouch Cornerstone software that allows object and touch recognition capabilities.

The LCD has been installed in the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. In addition, six MultiTouch Cell Advanced units were utilized in the 2011 International CES Twitter Wall.

The MT469 LCD enhances MultiTouch’s previous launch MT467 LCD, which is one of the first large-size LCD multitouch displays designed for digital signage and retail applications. In addition, the company’s Computer Vision Through Screen (CVTS) technology enables stacking of displays into a wall or table configuration and allows countless numbers of users.
