Larson Electronics Unveils Explosion Proof LED Light for Low-Voltage Applications

Larson Electronics’ magnalight.com has released a new two-foot explosion proof LED light called the EPL-24-LED-LV for low-voltage applications.

The LED light is ideal for hazardous environments. A wide range of accessories such as safety cable kits, mesh guards, carts and overspray covers aid the light to operate under specific applications.

The EPL-24-LED-LV works with 12 or 24 V DC or AC and provides an operating life of 50,000 h. It has LED tubes, board-integrated drivers and a T6 temperature rating. In addition, the 30 W LED light has a separate paint spray booth certification as well as UL 844 Class 1 Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 certification for use in hazardous environments.

The LED light fixture requires minimum maintenance as there is no separate ballast. It consists of off grid sources, solar panels, small generators and battery banks. In addition, the light is durable and comes in a pendant mount or surface mount configuration.
