Spire’s Solar PV Panels Receive UL Listing

Spire, Massachusetts-based solar manufacturer, has obtained Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listing for its PV panels and modules. UL analyzed and tested the PV module design from Spire and confirmed that the design complies with the UL1703 standards.

UL is specializing in the quality, performance, and safety of photovoltaic products and systems. In addition, it provides safety engineering discipline for the manufacturing, design, research and development products across the globe. The organization offers product safety certification and examines over 19,000 types of systems, materials, components and products from over 66,000 manufacturers annually.

Spire’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Roger G. Little stated that securing the UL’s master listing demonstrates the company’s commitment to offer innovative and quality PV module systems to the customers.
