GAO Fiber Optics Unveils Optical Power Meter for Fiber Optic Networks

GAO Fiber Optics has released a new optical power meter with a laser source.

800H Optical Power Meter

The 800H optical power meter is suitable for use in CATV maintenance and installation, testing of fiber optic networks, quality acceptance and assurance testing and WAN and LAN testing.

The power meter offers more number of standard wavelengths and wider power measurements. It tests optical power in the 800-1600 nm wavelength range in dBm and ìW. In addition, the handheld power meter operates for 30 h using a 3.7 V rechargeable Lithium battery.

The energy-efficient power meter offers calibrated wavelengths of 1550, 1490, 1310, 1300, 980 and 850 nm. It features a memory capacity to support 200 data items and offers an auto-off function. In addition, the device utilizes LC, SC, ST or FC connectors.
