Canon has released new digital cameras that feature touch screens, 1080p video capture, bright lens, and GPS. The Canon PowerShot SX230 HS, an advanced version of the Canon PowerShot SX210 IS model, is a compact camera with a GPS that offers geo-tagging.
The Canon PowerShot SX230 HS offers a super-zoom with a 3’’ LCD and a 14x optical zoom lens. In addition, it comes in three colors of black, red and blue.
The ELPH camera line from Canon includes three new models, namely, the Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS, the PowerShot ELPH 300 HS, and the Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS. The ELPH 100 HS features 1080p24 video captures, a 3’’ LCD screen and a 4x optical zoom. All the three models can perform burst captures at 8 fps and create slow motion video.
The ELPH 500 HS includes a bright f/2 lens and a 4.4x optical zoom. The lens included in the ELPH 500 HS allows shooting in low light conditions without the need of a flash. In addition, it has a 3’’ touch LCD screen with high-resolution of 461K dot.
The PowerShot ELPH 300 HS is a thin digital camera with a built-in 24 mm lens design. It features a 1080p24 video capture, 5x optical zoom and offer 12.1MP image captures.
