Barco Introduces 3D Projector with Image Processing Capabilities

Barco has rolled out a new 3D projector that is suitable for using in mid-sized event locations. The HDX-W14 three-chip DLP platform features user-friendly control options and advanced image processing capabilities.

The compact projector offers active 3D functionalities, a WUXGA resolution of 1920x1200 and a light output of 14,000 lm. Users can control the HDX-W14 via new technologies including smart phones and tablet PCs. In addition, the projector includes an LCD screen that features a preview mode and offers ease of operation. Furthermore, it provides control options via wireless and wired IP.

According to Barco’s Strategic Marketing Director of pro AV business, Chris Colpaert, the HDX utilizes advanced image processing functions that enhances creativity. He added that the projector features geometry correction and native blending capability for unusual screen sizes and shapes.
