FiberLight Enrolls in Allied Fiber's Dark Fiber Community

Provider of fiber optic networking services, FiberLight has joined the Dark Fiber Community of Allied Fiber. The company offers broadband connectivity systems across a different optical ring typology network spanning over 500,000 miles of fiber optic cable.

In addition, FiberLight owns the fiber optic network, provides 24×7 operation and offers premium business continuity and network security solutions. The company’s product line includes SONET, Dark Fiber, Managed Wavelengths, IP and Ethernet.

Allied Fiber is using a new multi-duct design to provide instant access to the long-haul fiber duct via a parallel short-haul fiber duct across the route. The design allows all the points within cities, rural networks, wireless towers and data centers, to have access to the dark fiber network. Furthermore, the neutral colocation facilities of Allied Fiber support a multi-tenant interconnection infrastructure incorporated with the dark fiber.
