JA Solar Signs Solar Module Supply Agreement with Major European Company

JA Solar, manufacturer of efficient solar energy products and solar cells, declared that it has inked a supply agreement with an European photovoltaic systems company to deliver solar modules with a total capacity of 400 MW from 2011 to 2013.

As per the conditions of the contract, JA Solar will deliver 100 MW of solar modules to the European company in the year 2011 and 125 MW of solar modules in 2012. The final deliverance of 175 MW of solar modules will be carried out in 2013.

The Chief Executive Officer at JA Solar, Peng Fang expressed his excitement over the long-term contract with the European firm, a key supplier of solar power systems and PV modules. Fang stated that through this partnership, the company would gain a strong foothold in the European market.
