Williamson Family Care Center, a clinic located in West Virginia, has installed solar panels on its roof to supplement its energy use.
SolarWorld, pioneer in crystalline silicon solar technology, supplied the required 46 solar electric power panels that will produce 11 kW of clean solar energy.
Mountain View Solar & Wind, a Berkeley Springs, West Virginia-based renewable energy installation company, carried out the installation activities in association with The Jobs Project, a non-profit organization that encourages renewable power markets in Central Appalachia.
West Virginia encourages renewable energy activities and currently provides lucrative cash incentives for solar system installations. The solar facility at the Care Center is anticipated to generate profit for the Center from the first year itself and will continue to generate power for a number of years.
