Dialight’s SafeSite LED Wallpack Luminaire Receives Class I, Division 2 Certification

LED lighting company, Dialight has received Class I, Division 2 certification for its SafeSite Series LED Wallpack Luminaire. The lighting solution is now certified for use in unsafe environments such as chemical facilities, oil platforms and explosive locations.

The SafeSite Wallpack fixture requires minimal maintenance and offers durable performance and increased energy savings compared to conventional fixtures for hazardous environments. In addition, it offers a suitable replacement solution for traditional fluorescent, incandescent and HID fixtures.

The lighting fixture delivers increased luminous efficiency and provides 70% lumen maintenance of above 60,000 h. It comes in 22 and 11 W versions and is resistant to vibrations and shocks. In addition, the fixture does not produce light spill and does not contain any harmful materials such as mercury.

The SafeSite LED Wallpack luminaire is offered in various color temperatures, namely warm, neutral and cool white. In addition, it provides optional oval or wide optical distribution. The luminaire is certified for ATEX Zone 2, 22 and Zone 1, 21, and features the IK04, IP67 and IP66 ratings.
