Hubbell Lighting Delivers Energy-Efficient Lighting Fixtures to University of Nebraska

Manufacturer of lighting fixtures, Hubbell Lighting has offered outdoor and indoor energy-saving lighting for a five-story parking garage at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. The USGBC LEED certified parking garage serves faculty and students.

With the help of Engineering Technologies (ETI), the energy-efficient lighting systems considered for the parking area were 47 exterior pole mounted fixtures and 379 interior fixtures from a Hubbell Lighting brand, Kim Lighting. ETI selected Kim Lighting’s WARP9-LED pole mounted area lighting fixtures for the exposed roof level parking area of the garage and Kim’s PGL7- LED fixtures for interior lighting.

Kim Lighting utilizes reflector components and aluminum-housing materials made from recycled materials for the MicroEmitter LED lighting. The company’s LED solutions are devoid of mercury and LED and meet the specifications of US and international environmental protection as well as recyclable needs.
