Laser Operations Unveils Portable Laser System for Direct Illumination Applications

Laser Operations has rolled out a new portable laser system that is suitable for direct illumination, forensics, medical laser therapy, heat-treating, laser soldering and plastic welding.

The SUltra laser system is a comprehensive OEM turn-key solution and is based on QPC Lasers' series of BrightLock and BrightLase fiber coupled modules.

The SUltra laser solution features a maximum optical power of 50 W in pulsed or CW mode and comes in various wavelengths such as 1920, 1470, 1064, 980 and 532 nm. The unit measures 15x16.2x45 cm and comprises controller electronics, thermal management system, power supply, visible aiming beam and laser instrument.

The laser unit comes in an air-cooled package, which is powered by 100 to 240 VAC. The laser output is supplied through an optical fiber that has a core size between 50 µm and 800 µm. The output is controlled via a user-friendly GUI or an RS-232 interface for convenient and swift integration.
