Tyco Electronics Unveils Large-Format Interactive Displays with Touch Technologies

Global technology company, Tyco Electronics has added new IntelliTouch Plus and IntelliTouch technologies in 42” and 46", and 32" sizes, respectively. The new touch technologies expand the company’s Elo TouchSystems Interactive Digital Signage (IDS) systems.

The touch technologies offer numerous options for large-format interactive displays that are suitable for public use. The Elo TouchSystems IDS interactive touchcomputer displays are durable and deliver enhanced performance. In addition, touch displays come in three sizes, namely 46, 42 and 32’’ in zero-bezel and bezel designs.

The digital signage systems include scratch-resistant panel technologies that are protected by a steel chassis. They endure continuous interactivity in public-access spaces with high traffic. The IntelliTouch Plus technology incorporates three axes of touch details to provide drift-free, precise and sensitive recordings of two touch locations simultaneously anywhere on the display screen. In addition, the IntelliTouch Plus enables consumers and developers to utilize multi-touch features and the advanced Microsoft platform functionality.
