Nikon Unveils Monarch Gold Laser 1200 Rangefinder with Backlit LCD Technology

Nikon has launched a Monarch Gold Laser 1200 Rangefinder with the Tru-Target ranging system. The rangefinder has similar functions as the Monarch 800 and includes additional ranging functions of up to 1,200 yards.

The Monarch 1200 has a Backlit LCD technology with focusing diopter and 7X multicoated optics. It is powered using a CR-2 lithium battery and is resistant to fog and water. In addition, the Monarch Gold Laser 1200 Rangefinder uses the Distant-Target Priority mode to range a distant target the laser can reach. It utilizes the First-Target Priority mode to obtain a quick reading of an object under clear view.

The rangefinder incorporates Nikon's Tru-Target ranging system to prioritize the minute, difficult-to-range targets. It is suitable for ranging over grasses, leaves and brush and hunting in dense forested areas. In addition, the Monarch 1200 utilizes the company’s Original Digital processor and measures 5x1.5x2.9’’.
