Developer of bedside Smart Terminals, JAOTech will roll out a new large-screen LED television with an inbuilt computer.
The Inix LED television is developed specifically for healthcare applications such as clinical access and for patient entertainment. The company will roll out the television at the HIMSS 2011 Expo that will be held in Orlando, Florida from 21 to 24 February 2011.
The Inix LED televisions feature a waterproof screen, which has been tested against hospital cleaning products. The computer within the LED televisions utilizes the latest Intel Atom processor technology that consumes less power and generates low noise. The television also supports HD 1080p resolution and is compatible with the company’s gesture remote control. The remote control, featuring a complete keyboard on the backside, is suitable for writing emails and for inputting data. The television is also compatible with the Wyki wireless keyboard.
JAOtech, in addition to the Inix TV, will release a new range of Smart Terminal accessories such as the Arcos 8250 multimedia wall box. The wall box offers wireless Ethernet and LAN connections and allows hospital staff and patients to utilize their laptops on the ward.
