BFi OPTiLAS Rolls Out Atlantic Picosecond Laser Systems for Micromachining Applications

BFi OPTiLAS, provider of laser and optical solutions, announced that it has rolled out a new series of Ekspla short pulse lasers.

Atlantic Picosecond Laser

The company is a partner of Ekspla in the UK, Nordics, Italy, Ireland and France. The diode pumped Atlantic picosecond laser delivers an average power of 16 W at a wavelength of 1064 nm.

The laser solutions feature high beam quality and offer maximum pulse energy of 160 µJ with a repetition rate of 500 KHz. They also feature optional harmonics at 355 and 532 nm. The laser systems offer stable operation in adverse environments and are ideal for PC-controlled, hands-free operation.

The Ekspla short pulse lasers combine an advanced status reporting system and an inbuilt self-diagnostics system. The lasers reduce maintenance costs and are ideal for various micromachining applications.
