SANTEC Introduces IP- Based Network Dome Camera with Panomorph Lens

SANTEC, a video surveillance products supplier based in Germany, has launched an IP-based network dome camera called the SNC-P3601M ImmerVision Enables. It features an immersive viewing functionality and a proprietary 360° Panomorph lens.

The SNC-P3601M has a resolution of 1.3 MP and a frame speed of 25 fps. The camera also features H.264 encoding and SD-card. Its integrated Panomorph lens that can be used with ImmerVision Enables viewing and recording products to deliver full 360° area surveillance from a number of concurrent perspectives. All objects in the frame are visible and the camera records everything and eliminates all the blind spots.

ImmerVision’s Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Alessandro Gasparini said that the SNC-P3601M is the first camera to provide a Panomorph lens as an integrated feature.

SANTEC’s Chief Executive Officer, Lars Diestel said that the ImmerVision Enables camera adds value to Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) or fixed cameras, extending the functionalities of the company’s video surveillance solution. The camera is also incorporated into the NUUO video management system and the SANTEC SanGuard software, both qualified ImmerVision Enables, he added.
