NEC’s MultiSync EX231W Desktop Monitor Wins iF Product Design Award 2011

Commercial projector and LCD display solutions provider, NEC Display Solutions of America has declared that its 23 " MultiSync EX231W desktop monitor has received the 2011 iF Product Design Award. The monitor has earned the award in the ‘05 Computers’ category.

The MultiSync EX231W monitor is suitable for enterprise office settings. Renowned industrial designer, Naoto Fukasawa has designed the MultiSync EX231W. He has been designing the MultiSync monitor line since 1992.

The MultiSync EX231W comes with latest technologies such as the human sensor that can sense users’ movements occurring before the monitor and automatically decreases its power by up to 95% during inactivity. Users can modify the sensor configurations and the length of inactivity.

The MultiSync EX231W has Digital Video Interface – Integrated (DVI-I) inputs and DisplayPort for complete HD resolution and a slim bezel of 14.6 mm in width. It weighs 9.3 lbs with stand and features a USB on its top. The USB feature enables easy access to flash drive and allows instant connection of a webcam.
