McPherson announced that it has introduced a new high-resolution spectrometer that is ideal for imaging and scanning applications through 2D CMOS or CCD detectors.
The 2061 spectrometer has full width half maximum spectra of more than 0.02 nm and is ideal for plasma, Raman, luminescence, and emission measurement.
The spectrometer has a focal length of 1 m and has numerous entrance and exit locations and bilaterally adaptable slits. It also has a readily accessible focal plane with a width of 50 mm. The 2061 spectrometer has an inbuilt capability to mount high-angle, large Echelle diffraction gratings.
McPherson’s Snap-In gratings that fit the 2061 spectrometer can be conveniently interchanged. The gratings also offer a diffractive ruled region of over 40%. The spectrometer’s collimating, focusing, and matching optics offer high-quality operation and throughput with f/7 aperture.
Many kinds of diffraction gratings are available to modify systems for a suitable spectral resolution. A spectral resolution with a 1200g/mm grating and a 10 µm entrance slit is better than full width half maximum spectra of 0.02 nm.
