Jenoptik Launches LED Display Chips for Laser Measuring Systems

Jenoptik has introduced a new series of LED display chips that display symbols, letters and numbers on compact space. The chips are suitable for applications such as sports medicine devices, microscopy, binoculars and laser measuring systems.

New LED Display Chips

The data can be reflected into optical beam path with a recognizable emission of color red of 650 nm at ca. 400nA. The7-segment chip features ca. 0.7 mm digit-size with selectable single segment sizes for customized products.

The LED chips offer one hundred times more luminous intensity than the previous generation of chips. The chips provide improved contour sharpness and brightness, enhancing the visibility of the application. In addition, they maximize the operating life of battery in portable devices and have minimal power consumption.
