GAO Fiber Optics has introduced a new 3Com compatible transceiver for Fiber Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, SONET and other applications.
3CSFP91 3Com Compatible Transceiver
91 transceivers are suitable for use with SFP modules that are compatible with 3Com devices.
The transceivers link the module’s electrical circuitry with copper or optical network and patch cords with UPC connectors or computer. They are compatible with standard 3Com transceivers at an operating wavelength of 850 nm for MMF.
The 3CSFP91 transceivers offer various functions for physical network connectivity such as wave division multiplexing devices, Ethernet routing and switching equipment, cross-connect, distance extenders, and media converters. Furthermore, they can be taken out from the host system.
