QBC Diagnostics Introduces QBC ParaLens Advance for LED Fluorescence Microscopy

QBC Diagnostics has introduced an innovative product called the QBC ParaLens Advance that can upgrade any kind of compound light microscope for LED fluorescence microscopy.

QBC Diagnostics' QBC ParaLens Advance

QBC Diagnostics has developed the ParaLens Advance based on its highly successful ParaLens Microscope Attachment, which demonstrated the advantages of simple-to-power, long-lasting LED fluorescence microscopy to numerous laboratories across the world. When compared to the earlier model, the ParaLens Advance has a more intense light source that is equal to a 100 W mercury vapor bulb. It also features a patent-pending detachable filter set arm, which enables operators to rapidly alter between objectives as needed.

The LED fluorescence microscopy has proved its enhanced speed and sensitivity in a number of clinical and research processes such as detection of malaria and TB. The World Health Organization has also suggested the use of LED fluorescence microscopy in all laboratories across the globe for TB screening.

The Vice President and General Manager at QBC Diagnostics, Craig Stout commented that by upgrading their present microscopes, lab operators could comply with World Health Organization proposal without investing in new product.
