element14, a community, research portal, has unveiled a new sustainable solid state lighting module with arrow and medium flood-beam versions.
The Helieon sustainable light module is suitable for applications including museum lighting, decorative lighting, architectural lighting, hospitality lighting, display and retail lighting, interior-area lighting, troffers, track and spot lights, accent and task lighting as well as down lights.
The light module integrates the Molex interconnect technology and Bridgelux’ solid state lighting technology to reduce the process of upgrading, replacing, designing and developing luminaires. It imitates a conventional lighting socket and offers a convenient installation experience. With the twist of a wrist, it produces the change in light output, colour temperature and beam angle.
The Helieon lighting system produces between 500 and 1,500 lm in application conditions in fluorescent and halogen color temperature options. In addition, the light source is eco-friendly as it is produced from RoHS compliant recyclable components.
