VITRONIC to Display Color Line-Scan Camera at SNEC PV Power Expo

VITRONIC, manufacturer of machine vision solutions, will showcase a new color line-scan camera from the VINSPECsolar family at the SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai, from 22 to 24 February 2011. The camera integrates print and color inspection of cell front sides within a single system.

The color line-scan camera features four separate high-resolution lines of colors including black and white enable 64 MP image information per cell. It offers improved color classification, print quality and enhanced LED illumination. In addition, the camera system inspects geometries, edges, surfaces and color reliably and accurately.

VITRONIC has equipped majority of the module and cell manufacturers in the USA and Europe with efficient inspection systems for the entire manufacturing steps. The company’s high-resolution line-scan and matrix cameras detect defects on solar modules, cells and wafers on a maximum of µm-range as well as optical criteria.
