GAO Tek Releases 5202 Optical Light Source for Evaluation of Optical Devices

GAO Tek has rolled out a new handheld optical light source for optical systems and devices such as WNM.

5202 Handheld Optical Light Source

The 5202 light source is ideal for the maintenance of generic cabling systems (GCS), fiber optic test labs, CATV systems, and telecommunication networks.

The optical light source offers a stable output power with PF-LD emitters and provides light source modulation frequencies of 2 kHz, 1 kHz, 270 Hz, and CW. It offers ease of operation and stable output wavelengths such as 1300/850 nm for multimode fiber, and 650nm red source, 1550/1310 nm for single mode fiber.

The 5202 optical light source is suitable for the maintenance, testing, and manufacture of passive optical components. Furthermore, it can be utilized in combination with various types of test devices including fiber identifiers and power meters to test optical cables.
