Manufacturer of high-power laser solutions, Fianium has unveiled a new supercontinuum laser with an optical power of more than 8 W.
The SC450-8-VE supercontinuum laser has a spectrum, which is optimized to offer maximum visible light. The unit, with more than 1.5 W in the visible wavelength series, is ideal for white light sources across various applications.
The SC450-8-VE supercontinuum laser features an average visible brightness of over 5 mW/nm, making it ideal for applications such as broadband spectroscopy, fluorescence imaging, industrial inspection, and flow cytometry. It is available in variable and fixed repetition rate variants for enhanced versatility. The source, with the variable repetition rate option, is ideal for steady state measurements and lifetime studies.
The SC450-8-VE laser unit has a 19” rack-mount chassis that makes it ideal for lab and OEM applications. The device’s all-fiber design is upgradable, modular, and robust. It also does not need any alteration, maintenance, or user alignment. The unit is also compatible with various Fianium plug-and-play accessories such as the AOTF-HP tunable filter module.
