China Sunergy Secures 1.1 MW PV Solar Module Contact in Switzerland

Solar module and cell manufacturer, China Sunergy has received a contract to supply 1.1 MW solar modules for Switzerland. Under the terms of the agreement, the company will supply a solar system integrator, Sunergic, with solar modules to a Swiss utility, Services Industriel de Geneve (SIG).

Sunergic is currently developing services associated with fuel cells, EVs and electric mobility powered by PV systems, while China Sunergy produces solar cells from silicon wafers and distributes them to overseas and Chinese system integrators and module manufacturers. In addition, China Sunergy sells solar power systems for a wide range of markets.

China Sunergy’s Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Zhifang Cai stated that the company is delighted to work with Sunergic for the PV solar project in Switzerland. He added that the company anticipates similar business opportunities in the future.
