Foxcom Successfully Deploys Fiber Optic Solutions for 2010 Asian Games in China

Foxcom, manufacturer of RF over Fiber Solutions, has effectively deployed the fiber optic solutions at the Asian and Para Asian Games 2010, held in China.

The company bettered its own record by sending 70 MHz IF and L-band signals at 110 km distance without using any repeaters or amplifiers in the path.

The RF over Fiber links delivered CNR performances of over 41dB at a bandwidth of 36 MHz. Foxcom delivered the uplink signals of 70 MHz from the IBC located in Panyu district to the Guangdong Earth Station of China Telecom. The company transmitted the L-band downlink signals to the IBC to conduct monitoring operations.

Foxcom deployed its advanced Sat-Light /Platinum product line with an intense power laser to fulfill vigorous requirements of the consumer. The Sat-Light /Platinum series incorporates the RF-to-fiber technology and fulfills the growing demands for increased RF monitoring and control as well as for better performance.
