GlacialLight has released a new lighting solution for outdoor and indoor applications. The GL Procyon Series-Flood Light, SP100W-CW/WW, is suitable for illuminating public places, stadiums, parks, construction, parking lots as well as for spot lighting, security lighting, landscape lighting and architectural lighting. The company is a sub-division of GlacialTech, which is a technology manufacturer.
The GL Procyon Series utilizes 100 W of power and offers the same illumination as a 400 W mercury light bulb. It provides energy savings of 75% and has an operating life of over 20,000 h compared to mercury lamps. In addition, the GL-SP100 Procyon Series LED spotlight reduces CO2 emissions, making them an eco-friendly option.
The LED spotlight has an operating temperature range of -20°C to +40°C at 100 to 240 V input voltage range and delivers power efficiencies of over 80%. Furthermore, it does emit IR or UV radiations and is resistant to dust.
