US Lighting Tech Delivers 100,000th Induction Lighting System to PSE+G

Manufacturer of induction lighting solutions, US Lighting Tech (USLT) has delivered the 100,000th induction lighting unit to New Jersey-based firm, Public Service and Enterprise Group (PSE&G). USLT offers Jersey Series induction lighting systems to municipal, industrial and commercial markets.

The contract between PSE&G and USLT is an extension of the largest Green Street Lighting Program  in the U.S. The participation of USLT in the program, which started in 2009, will extend until 2011. The completion of the program will make it the largest installation of induction streetlights in the US.

The lighting installation would generate energy savings of up to 40% with environmental benefits and cost savings. Previously, USLT had installed 90,000 street lights on neighborhoods and real world streets.

USLT’s President, Richard Ham stated that PSE&G is replacing existing mercury vapor fixtures with Jersey Series induction fixtures. He added that the induction lighting enhances ROI over the LED technology.
