GEO Semiconductor Exhibits eWARP and Realta Platforms for LCD Displays at 2011 CES

GEO Semiconductor, a company specializing in IC solutions, will introduce new LCD enhancement functions of the Realta and eWARP platforms at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Nevada. The company offers geometry and video processing IC devices for 3D and 2D applications.

The eWARPTM software and hardware platform comprises a comprehensive solution to accomplish enhanced visual quality for LCD monitors, large LCD displays, and televisions. It offers improved color uniformity correction and brightness, and facilitates cost reduction.

Furthermore, GEO Semiconductor will exhibit the software programmable REALTATM platform for decoding 3D video formats. It enables designers to accomplish standards that comply with standard 3D formats and HDMI1.4aTM format. In addition, the platform offers enhanced video processing for broadcast quality video. It permits convenient in-field upgrades to support new standards, thereby offering prior design proofing. The eWARP exhibits 360° video conferencing and surveillance functionalities with the company’s electronic pan-tilt-zoom (ePTZ) design.
