DINSpace Introduces SNAPXL Fiber Optic Patch Panel

DINSpace, provider of industrial connectivity devices, announced that it has introduced a new fiber optic patch panel. The SNAPXL fiber-optic patch panel is different from the SNAP fiber-optic patch panel series and provides double the amount of optical fiber adapters as the SNAP product range.

SNAP-XL Fiber Optic Patch Panel

The SNAPXL patch panel has a compact 7.75”x5.75”x3.5” enclosure and a maximum of 48 strands of singlemode or multimode fiber can be eliminated from it.

The SNAPXL patch panel, with powder-coated steel construction, enables users to eliminate the field distribution optical fiber cable in the field enclosures. The adapter interfaces are available in LC, SC and ST form factors for multimode and singlemode fibers.

The compact size of the fiber optic patch panel makes it suitable for restricted space enclosures. The unit’s slide-hinged faceplate helps in field termination. The SNAPXL fiber-optic patch panel offers fusion splice or patch field termination support and can be DIN-Rail or surface mounted.
