The Middle East region has used Raytec’s LED lighting technology to enhance the performance of CCTV system for security applications.
Raytec, a manufacturer of LED lighting solutions had signed a distribution agreement with video solution company, Harco at the beginning of the year.
Harco has used the illuminators from Raytec at numerous high security sites such as villas, private security buildings, shopping centres, industrial buildings, police facilities, and government facilities. Harco had conducted successful trials to adopt the LED lighting technology.
The LED illuminators from Raytec have a durability of over 10 years without any maintenance. The illuminators offer cost and energy savings compared to conventional lighting solutions. In addition, they enable surveillance systems to create enhanced images while operating under darkness. The LED illuminators have an Adaptive Illumination feature that enables the angle of illumination to be modified on site to meet the surveillance needs of 10° to 180°.
