Fujifilm Unveils Finepix X100 Camera with Hybrid Viewfinder

Fujifilm has released a new Finepix X100 camera that is equipped with an advanced hybrid viewfinder.

Fujifilm X100Œs Hybrid Viewfinder Combines Optical Clarity With Digital Data Overload

The company has designed two primary viewfinder modes for the Finepix X100 as well as a physical lever on the body of the camera. These features allow photographers to easily switch between the modes.

The OVF is an optical viewfinder option that offers a 0.5x magnification, 35 mm style optical window of photos.

The hybrid viewfinder integrates enhanced optical clarity with digital imaging data overload. An electronic viewfinder (EFV), a common feature in majority of digital cameras is also provided. The digital camera data obtained from an LCD panel is superimposed onto the optical image to produce a floating layer of data over the surface of the non-processed view.
