Samsung Electronics Rolls Out WB700 Slim Camera with 24X Zoom Function

Samsung Electronics has released a new slim camera with a 24X zoom to deliver enhanced images. The WB700 includes a 24 mm wide Schneider KREUZNACH lens with a 1.3X Smart Zoom and 18X optical zoom.

The 16 MP CCD sensor of the camera enables it to offer sharp images. The WB700 records full 1080p HD video in the H.264 format and features full manual control. The zoom features and the lens of the WB700 enable users in capturing a wide landscape in a 16 MP detail.

The WB700 allows users to capture still images and video footages using Samsung’s new developments in HD video technology. It has the Smart Filter 2.0 for modes including cinema, half-tone dot, soft focus, sketch, miniature, as well as fish-eye, and features perfect portrait system and Movie Recording button. In addition, the camera utilizes a new noise reduction algorithm to remove zoom noise, while the optical zoom moves forwards and backwards. The other features included in the camera are flash manual adjustment; Smart Auto for stills or movies; full manual mode with A/S/M support; and support for Raw file format.
