NEC Display Solutions has unveiled a new LCD monitor that has a 1920×1080 resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The 23” MultiSync EX231W LCD display features a LED backlighting technology that delivers enhanced performance. It consumes 0.4 W in standby mode and 31 W in operation mode. It features a pixel pitch of 0.265 mm, a response time of 5 ms, a brightness rating of 250 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
The MultiSync EX231W display has a DisplayPort input, instead of the HDMI input that is found on conventional consumer-oriented displays. It also has a DVI-I input port that serves as a VGA input through the adaptor cable. A USB port is located at the top of the monitor.
The EX231W display panel comes with a DVI-to-VGA cable, DVI cable, USB cable, power cable, external power supply, and a metallic base and connector arm. The panel is lightweight and thin and does not feature an internal power supply.
