SavWatt Announces the Availability of Energy-Efficient LED Street Lights

LED lighting company, SavWatt USA has announced the availability of energy efficient, high power LED street lights. The operating life of LED street lamps is three to five times more than high pressure Sodium lamps.

The LED lights offer around 50% to 70% energy savings compared to Sodium lamps. In addition, the ROI for the LED street lights is around 25% to 40% with respect to the electricity costs in particular areas.

The Chief Executive Officer at SavWatt, Michael Haug stated that the 220, 150 and 60 W LED street lights are suitable replacements for 400, 250 and 100 W High Pressure sodium lamps. Minimal power consumption of LED lights makes them suitable light sources for streetlights. Haug added that the company plans to work with numerous municipalities to meet their street lighting needs.
