LDK Solar Achieves 3.0 GW Solar Wafer Manufacturing Capacity

Manufacturer of PV products, LDK Solar has achieved an annualized capacity of 3.0 GW at its solar wafer plants. The company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Xiaofeng Peng conducted a ceremony to celebrate the milestone achievement at its facilities in China.

LDK Solar manufactures multicrystalline solar wafers polysilicon, mono and multicrystalline cells, modules, wafers and ingots. In addition, the company handles project development operations in specific PV market segments.

Peng stated that the company is delighted to reach the milestone of 3 GW annualized capacity at its solar wafer facility. This benchmark would facilitate the company to capitalize the PV solution demand.
