Lowe Offers GE Energy Smart LED Bulb

Home improvement retailer, Lowe offers a new ENERGY STAR rated LED A-Line bulb. The 9 W GE Energy Smart LED bulb delivers an omni-directional light output and can be used to replace a 40 W incandescent bulb used in hallway, bedside or desk lamps.

The LED bulb has an operating life of over 22 years with a color rendering index of 80. It delivers a 3,000 K soft white light and offers instant brightness similar to halogen and incandescent bulbs. The bulb provides energy savings of 77% in contrast to a 40 W incandescent bulb.

In addition, Lowe provides new options of LED ceiling fans, namely the Hunter 52-inch Infiniti Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan. The Hunter includes a 13 W LED light kit that offers significant cost savings.

The Merchandising Vice President at Lowe, Karena Bailey stated that the ENERGY STAR rated LED bulb offers both cost and energy savings for customers. The company provides numerous ENERGY STAR lighting for its consumers.
