AZ Displays Introduces WSVGA TFT Display for Outdoor Applications

AZ Displays has rolled out a 10.2-inch WSVGA TFT display that is suitable for extreme environments. Prime View (PVI)/E-Ink has manufactured the PM102ZY3 display that features a 1024x600 pixel native resolution.

LED Display withstands temperature extremes, rugged conditions

The PM102ZY3 comes in a compact package that measures 235×146× 6.2 mm in width, height and depth, respectively. It can operate over a range temperature of -20°C to +80°C and includes an LED backlight that consumes minimum power. The TFT display has maximum life cycle of five years.

AZ Displays offers optional functions to the WSVGA TFT display, namely paired driver/controller boards featuring standard 6 bit digital LVDS interface or TTL interface conversion; open frame assemblies; high bright LED backlight assemblies; touch screens and 1K nits enhancements for improved outdoor viewing ability.

AZ Displays’ President, Jim Kennedy stated that the new enhancements to the PM102ZY3 make it suitable for outdoor applications and industrial GPS units that require long temperature performance.
