VideoIQ announced that it has rolled out iCVR-HD cameras that offer full megapixel analytics, zero bandwidth recording, and full 1080p resolution and frame rate.
iCVR-HD Camera
The iCVR-HD cameras are the latest addition to the company’s range of video surveillance systems that include iCST series of streaming cameras, iCVR encoders and iCVR dome cameras.
VideoIQ's adaptive video analytic technology can process full megapixel streams on-camera. The cameras also have higher resolution and a wide field of view, allowing operators to track objects and capture the greater details of object over an extended period of time. The camera’s threat identification depends on the company’s adaptive analytics that self calibrate quickly and sustains the calibration. The adaptive analytics can distinguish boats, vehicles and people from other animals and objects.
The iCVR-HD cameras can save full 1080p video in an onboard NVR storage device. The cameras eradicate the requirement to stream the images across a network and reduce bandwidth consumption and network traffic by over 90%. They simplify infrastructure and allow customers to install video surveillance systems in environments not feasible for traditional megapixel cameras.
