AU Optronics (AUO), a company specializing in TFT-LCD panels, has received the UK MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certification for the multi-crystalline solar module called the EcoDuo PM 220. The company will extend its business operations into the market in Britain, and offer reliable, efficient solar modules.
MCS offers quality assurance for consumers ensuring that microgeneration solutions fulfill the standards such as manufacturing processes and module performance. The EcoDuo PM 220 has fulfilled MCS’ safety and quality standards, allowing AUO to sell the product in the local market. In addition, the multi-crystalline solar module has fulfilled the UL1730 and IEC61215 standards.
AUO combines PV projects, solar systems and solar modules to offer efficient solar total products. The company has participated in rooftop solar system and open-field PV system projects in Czech, Slovakia, Italy, and Germany.
