Vu1 Receives Preliminary Orders for ESL R30 Reflector Light Bulbs

Developer of lighting technology, Vu1 has obtained 57 initial orders for the ESL R30 light bulbs. The lamp orders include numerous medium and small sized organizations and businesses, as well as individual consumers.

The R30 Electron Stimulated Luminescence (ESL) reflector light bulb is a designed to serve as a direct replacement for a 65-watt incandescent flood bulb. The ESL Lighting Technology utilizes accelerated electrons for the stimulation of phosphor to produce light. This in turn makes the bulb surface to glow, offer 10,000 h of operating life, energy efficacy, and natural light quality. The R30 bulb is free from mercury, and cannot be distinguished from the replaced conventional incandescent lamp.

Vu1’s CEO and President, Philip Styles stated that the company is delighted to receive the initial orders for the R30 light bulbs. He added that the company plans to meet the preliminary customer orders.
