CPT to Showcase 7-Inch LCD Displays at CES 2011 Expo

CPT and Pixel Qi announced that they have signed an agreement to manufacture three new LCD screens of different sizes. The LCD screens will be introduced into the market in 2011. CPT also recently displayed the transreflective screen at a trade show held in Taiwan.

CPT has collaborated with Pixel Qi to manufacture the 7” display screens that have a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Samples of the display screens have been developed and production is likely to start from the second quarter of 2011. The 7” display screens is also scheduled to be displayed at the CES 2011 Expo to be held in Las Vegas in January 2011. CPT plans to manufacture a maximum of 40 million displays each month.

Pixel Qi is a manufacturer of low power consumption and high-performance LCD panels. Pixel Qi’s VP of Manufacturing, Dr. Belle Fu stated that the collaboration will bring new kinds of LCD screens in 2011.
