Hamamatsu Unveils PMA-12 Spectrometer and Photo-Detector for High-Sensitivity Applications

Hamamatsu Photonics announced that it has launched a PMA-12 spectrometer and photo-detector that offers a series of sensor choices to meet the user-requirements in a single unit.

PMA-12 Spectrometer

The  sensor series such as InGaAs, back-thinned CCD and standard CCD are cooled to make sure that there is high-sensitivity across the entire wavelength range from 200 to 2350 nm. The PMA-12 is equipped with a software for measuring standard characteristics such as chromaticity, transmittance, reflectance and emission. The software also enables multiple wavelength analysis. The wavelength data and spectral response are all fully calibrated for the PMA-12 components.

The PMA-12 provides a CCD integrated with an Image Intensifier for applications needing high-sensitivity and high-speed. The Image Intensifier enables low gating times in the order of 10 ns. The data can be stored in various formats for convenient export to third party software.
