SoloPower Releases SFX3 Thin Film Solar Module

Manufacturer of solar cells, SoloPower has expanded the thin film solar module product line with a new solar module. The SFX3 produces a maximum of 260 Wp of power and delivers an aperture efficiency of up to 12.1%.

The SFX3 module is a certified, flexible thin film CIGS module and is based on SoloPower’s previous model the SFX1 module. The SFX1 module is a flexible CIGS module that is certified to the IEC 61730 and 61646, as well as UL 1703 standards.

SoloPower is shipping the SFX3 and SFX1 thin film modules to North America, Korea, Japan, Germany, France, Belgium, and Australia. The SFX1 and the SFX3 module produce a maximum power of 85 and 260 Wp and have dimensions of 0.292 x 3.05 m and 0.88 x 3.05 m, respectively. In addition, the company’s thin film solar modules weigh less compared to conventional solar panels.
