LG Electronics, manufacturer of mobiles phones, LCD and plasma televisions, has launched a new series of LED 3DTVs in the US.
The TVs incorporate a NANO lighting technology and have an antireflective panel that improves the picture quality.
The LED array render smooth, bright, and clear pictures via a thin film printed with a light-dispersion pattern. The NANO LED TVs feature enhanced localized dimming via a Micro Pixel Control application that controls the separate LED blocks. The NANO LED technology produces dark, deep blacks and imparts improved color.
The LED 3DTVs are available in screen sizes of 47” to 60’’ with less than 1’’ of depth and feature refresh rates of 480 and 240 Hz. The LED 3DTVs are currently undergoing certification for THX 2D and 3D display.
