Nikon Releases D3100 Camera for Amateur Photographers

Nikon has released a new camera with an integrated 14.2 MP CMOS sensor and an 11-point autofocus system. The Nikon D3100 DSLR camera enables the capture of enhanced images and is suitable for amateur photographers.

The camera has a Guide Mode feature that facilitates image capture and provides ease of operation for amateurs. The CMOS sensor integrated with the camera operates together with the EXPEED 2 processor, delivering efficient and enhanced image quality. The imaging device produces smooth tonal gradations and minimizes noise.

The 11-point autofocus system of the Nikon D3100 maintains an accurate detail. The camera offers 100-3200 ISO sensitivity, and a D-Movie function that records full HD movie clips at 24 frames per second and 1080 pixels with enhanced image and sound quality. In addition, the Nikon camera includes an HDMI connectivity port for viewing movies on HDTVs.

The Live View mode of with the camera is connected with Scene Auto Selector, and this mode offers an intuitive way for image capture. Furthermore, the Live View facilitates convenient composing of pictures with the LCD monitor.
