Provider of fiber optical devices, GAO Fiber Optics has unveiled a 3Com compatible 1000base-T SFP transceiver that can be plugged into module sockets.
3CSFP93 3Com Compatible 1000Base-T SFP Transceiver
The 3CSFP93 transceiver is suitable for 10 GB Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, fiber channel, SONET/SDH, and DWDM link applications.
The hot-pluggable I/O device links the module’s electrical circuitry with copper or optical network. In addition, the transceiver links patch cords with UPC connectors or computer. The 3Com compatible transceiver provides various 10 GB Ethernet connectivity choices for service provider transport, enterprise wiring closets and data center applications.
The 1000base-T SFP transceiver features up to 100 m cable lengths for 1000Base-T SFP module copper connections. The transceiver, equipped with a range of SFP-based module, is compatible with respective 3Com device.
